Noel's return to Brooklyn marks his second stint with the team. He previously played for the Nets in 2019-2020, averaging 9.7 points and 8.6 rebounds per game.
Noel is known for his defensive prowess, particularly his shot-blocking ability. He has averaged 1.6 blocks per game over the course of his career.
The Nets are hoping that Noel can provide some much-needed depth in the frontcourt. The team has been struggling with injuries this season, with Kevin Durant and Ben Simmons both sidelined.
